How it works
What happens under the hood, for anyone who wants to understand it --
contributors, curious operators, agents working on the code. These pages
describe the system as it is today; the reasoning behind the decisions is
in the design documents in the repository (docs/design/).
- The stream pipeline -- one stream, from the encoder to a viewer's screen and back to offline.
- The media engines -- how three engines sit behind one seam, and what each supplies.
- Federation -- following, peering in two directions, and signing in from another instance.
- Package dependencies -- every Go package, what it is, and what depends on it. Generated from the code.
